Comprehensive Financial Planning

Where Shared Values Become a Shared Plan

A complete financial plan, built around the goals that matter most to you — and refined as life unfolds.

Some financial decisions are simple. Most aren’t.

When you are planning for retirement, transitioning a business, caring for an aging parent, or thinking through what you want to leave behind, the questions don’t fit on a spreadsheet. They are personal. They are emotional. And they shape every financial decision that follows.

Comprehensive financial planning at Symphony is built around those conversations. We start by listening to your goals, your concerns, and your values. From there, we coordinate every part of your financial life into a single plan: cash flow, investments, tax-aware strategies, insurance, retirement, estate, and business succession. The plan we build is yours. We refine it as life unfolds, and we walk with you across the years.

Our Steps to Financial
Planning

Step 1

Discover

We start with conversations, not questionnaires. We get to know you, your family, or your business and the goals you are working toward, including the ones you haven’t fully articulated yet. We review your current assets, liabilities, income, and expenses to build a clear picture of where you stand. More importantly, we listen for the values that will shape every recommendation that follows.

Step 2

Develop

We use that picture to build a financial plan tailored to your short-term and long-term goals. Investments, tax-aware strategies, insurance, retirement, estate planning, and business succession. Every element is evaluated and integrated into one coordinated strategy. The plan is specific to you. We design it to be clear, actionable, and easy to follow.

Step 3

Align & Implement

We walk you through the plan and answer your questions. Only when you fully understand the recommendations and feel comfortable with the path forward do we begin implementation. From there, we coordinate the moving parts across your accounts and across your other trusted advisors, including your CPA, attorney, and insurance professionals, so every piece works in service of the same goals.

Step 4

Monitor

A financial plan is a living, breathing document. We meet regularly to review your progress, adjust the plan as life changes, and discuss adjustments when markets shift, tax law changes, or life events warrant a conversation. The work doesn’t end at implementation; it continues across decades. That’s how trusted relationships are built.
